This notice describes what happens to your data on senn-logistik.com — no more and no less. It covers this website only; other SENN Gruppe sites have notices of their own.

Visiting the website

When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system identifiers. This data sits in server logs, is needed to operate the site and to fend off attacks, and is deleted after 30 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The website runs on SENN Gruppe infrastructure in Austria. No transfer to a third country takes place.

The typefaces used are served from our own server. Your browser makes no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service while you read these pages.

Enquiry and contact forms

This website has three forms: a transport enquiry for shippers, a registration for carriers, and an application for an advertised position. We process what you enter — depending on the form, company, name, e-mail address, telephone number and your message — together with the time of submission and the IP address it came from.

We use this data solely to handle your enquiry and do not pass it to third parties. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or, for a general enquiry, our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your submission reaches us by e-mail and is additionally stored on our server so that no enquiry can be lost unnoticed. The time and IP entry serves to fend off automated submissions. We delete enquiries once they are settled and no statutory retention obligation applies, after three years at the latest.

Applications

Application documents — including the file you upload — are processed solely for the selection procedure concerned (§ 4(1) of the Austrian Data Protection Act in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no employment results, we delete the documents six months after the procedure ends, unless you have agreed to longer retention.

WhatsApp

This website has buttons that open a conversation in WhatsApp. No WhatsApp code is embedded: as long as you do not tap one, WhatsApp learns nothing about your visit. If you do tap one, you leave this website; from that point the terms and privacy notice of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. apply, and your telephone number and message are processed there. If you would rather they were not, use the form, the telephone or e-mail.

Audience measurement with Matomo

To improve what we offer, we measure the use of this website with Matomo, which we operate ourselves on our own infrastructure. No cookies are set, your IP address is truncated before storage, and no profiles attributable to a person are created. The data does not leave our infrastructure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the site to fit demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Leadinfo

We use Leadinfo B.V. (Rotterdam, Netherlands). The service matches the IP address of your connection against a directory and shows us which company opened a page. No names and no contact details of individuals are determined in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in approaching potential business partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The provider processes the data in the EU. You may object to this processing at any time — a message to us is enough.

Recipients

Within our company, your data reaches only those who need it to deal with your matter: dispatch, accounts or human resources. Beyond that, data is passed on only where a statutory obligation applies or where it is necessary to carry out an order, for example to the carrier performing it.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Please contact the address given in the legal notice.
